Thank you, thank you, thank you Courtney! for starting our blog. I've wanted to do so for a long time.
We had a BIG weekend. First of all Scott flew in on Friday--it was SOOOO good to see him! We went to watch our VERY FAVORITE baseball team for probably the last time, the Lancaster Barnstormers.

David went too and was even picked by the fun patrol's leader, I.M. Fun, to play one of the between-inning games. David put on farmer's overalls, hard hat, and goggles. I.M. Fun used his super sling-shot to catapult ears of corn one at a time into the outfield. David had to catch at least two of the four in a basket. He caught 3. GREAT FUN! Here's a picture, which you can't see David, but it shows the ballpark's ambiance. His prize is admission to a local corn maze, which hopefully one of his friends can use as we will be moved by then.

Saturday was a special day-- David's Eagle Scout Court of Honor! which turned out really wonderful, thanks to his Scoutmaster Shawn Gooden. His Eagle project was making quilts for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' humanitarian aid.
